Shake Shack Debuts in the Theater District

The fourth location of New York City's beloved burger joint Shake Shack officially opened today on the southwest corner of 44th Street and Eighth Avenue, complete with dazzling sign that looks at home among the district's flashing lights.

The new location's menu offers theater-themed "concretes," or ice cream concoctions, such as "Great White Way" (vanilla custard, marshmallow sauce, and crispy crunchies) and "Pretzel! The Concrete" (chocolate custard, peanut butter sauce, chocolate covered pretzels, and marshmallow sauce) alongside classic burgers, hot dogs, and shakes.

The theater district's Shack joins the three existing New York City locations in Madison Square Park, the Upper West Side, and Citi Field. And if four spots weren't enough to satisfy your Shake Shack fix, keep an eye out on the Upper East Side, where owner Danny Meyer plans to open yet another location this August. Good thing, too: the growing lines of burger devotees at the Times Square location are already notorious.
